The aim of this project is to be creative about funding art production.
Rather than seeking the grand ‘one off’ budget, I’d like to make contact with as many groups as possible interested in the connectivity needed to generate this artwork.
I want to achieve a lot with a little. Hosting an artist doesn’t need to be expensive. Sponsorship can be in kind and travel costs can be shared with others in the region.
Please think of creative ways you could employ an artist to help realise this project.
What skills can I offer? I can speak publicly on Thomas Muir and his place in history. I can teach in art schools. I can run public workshops. I can give lectures on a wide range of subjects including my experience in the British art scene of the ‘90’s. I have a public art training and I have a broad experience of manufacturing and staging contemporary art exhibitions around the world. However if none of these skills are of any use to you, I can do office work, build walls and generally ‘muck in’ to get whatever job is needing done, done.
